Know how long students of Jharkhand can apply for admission to IIHT in West Bengal

The enrollment process has started at the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT), West Bengal. Jharkhand has a quota for enrollment in three seats in this institution. The Directorate of Handloom, Silk and Handicrafts, Government of Jharkhand has sought applications from interested candidates for nomination. The last date for application is 3 June. After this, it will be on 10 June. Based on this, three students will be selected and sent for enrollment.



Starting July session will cloak
There is IIHT in Nadia, West Bengal. It enrolls three students from Jharkhand quota every year. The enrollment process for the session 2020-21 has started. Of this, two seats are unreserved, while one seat is reserved for other backward class students. The student must have passed 10th standard with English subject. Also, his age should be between 15 and 23 on 16 July 2020. He can also download the application form from the website of the Directorate. The application form can be submitted by June 2. Preference will be given to the weaver community or family among the students applying

of the weaver community. Along with the application, you have to submit matriculation certificate, residential certificate, caste certificate, certificate from weaver community, Aadhar card etc.



Selected students will be counseled
After scrutiny of the application by the department, students will be called for interview on 10 June. In this, the selected students will be issued a letter for counseling in IIHT. It is a three-year diploma course. Students will also be given scholarships at the rate of 1000 in the first year, 1100 in the second year and 1200 in the third year.
