Some vehicles moved back at Galwan, Hotsprings and Gogra.

Amid the ongoing face-off between Indian and Chinese forces in Ladakh, Chinese army has started pulling out troops from certain areas in the Galwan Valley in Ladakh, sources said.

Chinese Army has moved back tents, vehicles, and troops by 1-2 km from locations where disengagement was agreed upon during the commander-level talks, Indian Army sources told WION. 

The disengagement has begun according to an agreement between the Corps Commander's of the two sides, sources told news agency PTI.

However, they said Chinese heavy-armoured vehicles are still present in the Galwan river depth area.

Indian Army is monitoring the situation with caution, sources further added. 

China's People Liberation Army (PLA) was also seen removing tents and structures at Patrolling Point 14 and moving out vehicles from the area. 

A similar movement of vehicles was seen at Gogra Hot Spring area too, the sources said.

The tensions between both the Asian giants escalated following a violent face-off on June 15, when 20 personnel of the Indian Army were martyred in the Galwan Valley. The Chinese side also suffered casualties, but it didn't provide the details of it. 

In the last few weeks, a series of diplomatic and military-level talks are being taking place between both sides to de-escalate the situation at the border.
