Chhattisgarh Weather Update: Heavy rains in Chhattisgarh likely due to cyclonic storm Amphn

Chhattisgarh Weather Update: Avadab region has remained in the ocean due to active cyclonic storm in the Bay of Bengal. Due to this, the weather has changed completely from Bastar to Surguja in Chhattisgarh. The whole of Chhattisgarh is cloudy on Aasman. Along with this, light rains are occurring at many places in many areas of Bastar, Rajnandgaon, Raipur, Mahasamund, Dhamtari, Kawardha, Bilaspur and Surguja divisions. It is estimated that the cyclone will hit Odisha and Bengal coast by the afternoon of 20 May. Currently, this storm is about 750 km off the Paradip coast. At the same time its distance from Digha coast is about 900 km.

The picture obtained from the satellite underlines the effect of this storm moving rapidly towards Chhattisgarh.

According to meteorologists, where the storm is present, the sea surface temperature is between 31 and 32 degrees. The vertical wind is running at a normal speed and these conditions are perfectly suited to make it even more effective. The storm is now turning into a severe cyclone and due to its impact, heavy rains have been warned in the state within the next two days. There is a possibility of hail at some places. During this time the sky will be cloudy and winds will be in the range of 40 to 50 km.
