Building will no longer be sealed if coronavirus corona is found infected: BMC

Mumbai The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has changed its protocol regarding sealing of buildings in view of cases of Korena infection. This states that if a new COVID-19 case is found in society or building, then the entire building does not need to be sealed only the particular floor on which the corona patient is found.

As per BMC's order, patients found corona positive can be admitted to any hospital with beds or DCHC or DCH, private or public facility as per their capacity. Positive symptomatic patients can be housed in the home as per the guidelines of the Government of India if adequate facilities are available in the home. BMC has said in the advisory issued for the society that they should follow the rules of the Containment Zone, strictly adhere to the rules of wearing masks and physical distance.
