WHO-approved Covid-19 vaccines can come to India, more than 2 billion doses to become available soon

NITI Aayog member Dr VK Paul said that the department of biotechnology, and other departments concerned, and the ministry of external affairs have been in touch with vaccine manufacturers like Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.

The Centre on Thursday reiterated that any vaccine which is approved by United States' Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the World Health Organization (WHO) can come to India. The announcement was made at a press conference by NITI Aayog member VK Paul, who also heads the national expert group on vaccines.
