Berlin, AFP. A senior German politician hoped that the organizers of the Bundischliga Football League would strictly enforce the rules to celebrate the goal in this league as the players in the league embraced and violated the rules on the first day.

The German league resumed on Saturday after being closed for two months due to Corona and the clubs had agreed to follow the German government's rules regarding cleanliness. Bavaria province minister Marcus Soder said, "Footballers are role models, so we should stick to the guidelines and focus on them from next week."

Players have been asked to avoid contact as far as possible, especially while celebrating the goal but on some occasions it was ignored. Hertha Berlin's Marco Grusidz kissed his teammate Dedrick Boyetta on his cheek during his team's 3–0 win against Hoffenheim.

When Hertha's players broke the rules in this way, Soder said, "I don't like it at all."

Record viewers watched matches

The Bundischliga League, which began on Saturday, was watched by more than six million viewers on TV in Germany, a new record for broadcaster Sky. Matches were shown on over 70 broadcasters worldwide.
